Fundraising and whats goin on

So, last Monday was the Pizza Hut fundraiser. It was pretty slow inside, I think the four of us waited like 8 or 10 tables. But between those and the tips and the other business the the Hut did, I will be getting about $160 dollars from Pizza Hut, and we had about $49 dollars in tips. So there's a start.

I talked to Brad this week about getting in his reference form for me, that is the last one I'm waiting on. I also sent out about 60 letters to area churches letting them know what I was doing and opening lines of communication with them. Thank you Erica for that. I also got a few letters out to those who gave me addresses after my first update email on facebook. And I got my email with the invitation letter from a Thai company I needed so I can get my visa. And looking at flights online, it seems the cheapest flights are going to be before the new year, right around 2 grand.. they jump up almost a grand if not more after the first, then go back down a bit after the 5th or 6th back to about 2 grand.

I'm struggling right now trying to keep my faith and trust up. So please pray for me there. The question I hate the most is "is this a realistic thing?" NO. It sure as heck isnt. at least not by my understanding or knowledge of how the world works. But it so fortunately isnt up to me in any of those ways. So pray for me as I keep answering that question, both to myself and to those who ask.
